Group Classes

Introducing Flex Classes!

Flexible Attendance Group Training Classes

Classes are based on particular topics like coming when called, loose leash walking, polite greetings, puppy foundations, etc. Whatever skill level you and your dog are at, there will be lots of great information in each class for you.  The more classes you attend, the stronger your dog’s skills will be. We increase the difficulty level for dogs that already know the basics.

The classes are designed for you to repeat.  We keep class size small (4-5 teams max) with multiple instructors so we can work with you individually at your level. You also get to focus on the skills that matter to you.

You can start right away instead of waiting for a particular start date.

You purchase a Flex Class Pass then pick the classes you want. This allows you to attend classes on your schedule.

Have more than one dog? Split your Flex pass between multiple dogs.

Classes must meet a minimum of 2 teams for the class to take place.  You must pre-register for a class or cancel 48 hours in advance.  If you do not show up for class it will count as one of your classes.  Classes can be held inside AND outside. Please dress appropriately.  Proof of current vaccines are required.

*Group classes are not suitable for dogs who severely react by;  barking, lunging, and or growling at people or other dogs. Contact us if you have any questions.

Private lessons are also available at our facility - call for pricing

This class is designed for dogs that are good with dogs and people, but have trouble focusing or have issues with impulse control in exciting environments.  When we talk about “impulse control issues,” it means the failure to resist a temptation, an urge or an impulse. Impulse control training involves teaching your dog skills to build self-control.

In this class, we will introduce exercises to teach and reinforce leave it (to ignore something of interest), wait/stay and attention/focus — all skills which are essential for a dog to harness control of their impulses.

Rock ~ Solid ~ Recalls:  Does your dog sometimes come when called or seem to have selective hearing? Do you have to chase your dog around to get her to come in from the yard every morning?
This class is jam packed with games for teaching your dog to pay attention and come when called - the first time you call her.

A reliable recall may be the most important skill your dog can learn.  It could save your dog's life!

Tricks & Games: Trick training is a great way to bond, practice your training mechanics, and keep your dog’s brain thinking. This class will teach fun tricks like: nose and paw targets, crawl, spin, sit pretty, shake, high five, roll over, ring a bell, back up, put your toys away, etc.  Not only will we be working on tricks in this class we'll also throw in some fun games to play with your dog. We will challenge them mentally and physically with a variety of enrichment activities. For extra bragging rights, your dog may be ready to earn a Trick Dog title!

Handler's Choice:  You decide what you need help with and we’re here for you! This class is an opportunity to practice anything you want to work on! Practice something specific for therapy work, learn a specific trick, work through an issue, or work on basic puppy manners. We keep class size small so we can work with you and help you develop a plan to reach your goals.

Scent Work:  Scent Work is a sport which allows your dog to harness their innate sense of smell to detect odors. Using the same approach as detection dogs who learn to discern odors such as narcotics or explosives, Scent Work teaches your dog how to identify a variety of essential oils, such as birch, anise and clove or other scents.  Even if you're not interested in ever competing in scent work this is great to learn to play at home and a super way to keep your dog busy while doing something they love....sniff!  This is a beginner class.

Rally Obedience: Rally uses basic obedience moves to navigate a "course" laid out with signs. The handlers/dog team will learn the Rally signs. These signs are just a combination of sits, downs, and heeling. Rally is a fun and exciting way to promote a positive working relationship between handler and dog while the chance to earn AKC titles.
